About Us

Skatetown has been a part of the Knoxville community for over 40 years and has been a local family owned and operated facility since 2007. Our goal is to provide a clean well maintained and regulated family friendly environment offering tons of fun and flashbacks to the 70's, 80's, and 90's and beyond. 

We offer weekly public sessions 7 days a week with extended hours when Knox County Schools are out and throughout the summer. We host stress free birthday parties within our public session hours, and in addition, when we are not open to the public our facility is available for private parties and events.

RINK RULES

UPON ENTERING OUR FACILITY, YOU AGREE TO FOLLOW ALL VERBAL, WRITTEN and POSTED RULES. 

• All skates, inline and quads, are subject to approval by management.  All skates must be clean and in good repair.  NO MISSING WHEELS OR SHARP EDGES!
• All skaters must wear socks if renting skates.
• NO outside food or drink is permitted, including bottled water and coffee.
• NO foul language
• Appropriate dress required.
• We charge admission for all kids entering the rink.
• No Smoking/Vaping inside the facility.
• Persons suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied admission or asked to leave.
• Do not carry children while on skates.
• Do not stop on the skate surface, please exit the skate surface if you need to stop or speak with someone.
• Please do not sit on tables, counters or half walls.
• Small children must be supervised at all times.
• Tag playing, weaving in and out of others, fast, reckless and any other skating in an unsafe manner that may jeopardize the safety of yourself, or others is not permitted.
• All food and drink must be kept in the snack bar or party areas.
• We do not allow skate mates or any type of skate assistive devices on the rink floor.
• Management reserves the right to inspect all bags, backpacks or similar items when entering or leaving the building.
• Skatetown and/or management is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
