ABOUT US

About Us

Skatetown has been a part of the community for over 30 years and has been a local family owned and operated facility since 2007. Our goal is to provide a clean, family friendly environment offering tons of fun and flashbacks to the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

We offer weekly public sessions 7 days a week with extended hours when Knox County Schools are out and throughout the summer. We host birthday parties within our public session hours, and in addition, when we are not open to the public our facility is available for private parties and events.

A Note to our Community About Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Recently, we have spent much time learning about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact in and around OUR Knoxville. Rest assured that we will continue to not only monitor its effect but will also be following the guidelines and criteria as recommended by the CDC and our State and County Health Departments. Our priority has been and will continue to be the safety and well-being of our entire community- ALL guests, staff and families.

We want to assure our guests that we will continue to complete our daily DEEP cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing rituals. In addition, we have INCREASED our daily sanitizing efforts to include before we open, after we close and during the course of our public hours throughout the entire facility. As always, we have sanitizing stations throughout the rink and will continue to maintain them. We encourage frequent hand washing along with the use of the sanitizing stations during your visit with us.

We are a part of you…YOU are our community family. We live here, we have kids that attend school here, we shop here and we support many activities right here in our community. We ask that you keep our community in mind when visiting us for your family outing. In an effort to maintain a healthy environment for ALL, we would appreciate your efforts with the following as suggested by the CDC and Health Departments. We ask that if you have had any recent exposure risk through travel, are sick, have a member of your household that is sick, are elderly and at risk, or are an individual with a compromised immune system at risk…PLEASE STAY HOME. We have been serving this community as a family for almost 15 years, and   we hope that you will assist us in protecting our community friends and neighbors.

Thank you for trusting us and continuing to Roll With Us during this uncertain time. We will continue to communicate and update you as we receive any additional information or directives from State and Local Officials.

Be Kind, Stay Healthy and we hope to see you ROLLING WITH US soon!
